NOVEMBER 2010

The 17 scents and their associated emotions and colours are not presented in a row or a stack, but horizontally. For the overall image, Donkey Communication took its inspiration from Gothic architecture - the packaging, the bottles with their coloured bases, the choice of logo, typography and photography, right through to the POS display. The germ of the idea was tracery - fine stonework in Gothic windows. We developed the presentation display as a horizontal ring of screen-printed and lasered acrylic glass. Backlit, it recalls rays of sunlight streaming through a stained glass window. To make the scents more tangible for customers, the circle revolves in a carousel of atmospheric moods! Around 100 of these displays are currently to be seen in branches of Douglas.
